A strong east wind in May

After several days of persistent strong easterly winds, multiple birds of prey were observed from the migration watchpoint in the Tuintjes as they made their journey north. Some crossed over the North Sea well before reaching the watchpoint, heading toward the more northerly island of Vlieland.
