Autumn migration is in full swing. Finches, Bramblings, Meadow Pipits and thrushes migrate en masse. The loud penetrating call of the Yellow-browed Leafwarbler can be heard in many places. In particular, Redwings and Song Thrushes do well to the berries of Hawthorn, Sea Buckthorn and Mountain Ash. The first Snow Buntings and Horned Larks of the autumn have also been seen. Over the last weeks many skuas and shearwaters were seen over the sea. Records of Blyth's Reed Warbler, King Eider as well as some Sabine's Gulls, Leach's Storm Petrels, Little Buntings and Barred Warblers were the cherries on the cake. For the coming Dutch Birding weekend expectations are high .......
