Two remarkable guests

The sighting of a Bald Eagle on July 9 is indeed an 'escape', but a very nice one. The young bird showed itself in various places where the copper ring was sometimes clearly visible. Another highlight was a White-winged Tern, which was seen from July 13 till 17. The adult bird was regularly seen, hunting fanatically for insects above a grain field. The tern was also seen several times in the nearby Slufter.
